Review: This website is ranked #3 in Google (search Project Mobius). It takes approx. 2.2 seconds to load this site on my computer. I am yet to encounter any flause through Mozilla Firefox 2.0+ and IE 6+, however, it requires you to have Adobe Flash Player installed. It is best viewed in a screen of 1280px x 1024px screen. The layout is simple, yet has an elegent look. There is not much content on the root site, however, most of the content is found in their blog. It is not that user-friendly (to me). They do not state their aim/motive clearly where visitors like me might not even know what the website is about. It has nice archive of designs. The content might not be to my liking though.  However, I love the blog! It has very interesting posts/topics. I am still looking forward to see how it will be in future. Overall, I would rate this site C+.

Review: This forum is ranked #1 in google (search: webicy). There are yet to have any problems working with Firefox 2.0+ and IE 6+.  It takes approx. 1.8sec to load on my computer. It has great content but with a very simple layout. The author and members seem to be quite active and it has a total of 4,640 members and counting (currently). It is indeed a very good forum for webmasters to meet. It has very defined categories, so much so that it makes it easy for people to navigate around. If you are not logged in/registered, you are still allowed to browse through most of the topics discussed (what I like about the forum). I would recommend webmasters to join the forum especially those who has just begun their journey as a webmaster. This is where you can have your virtual ‘family’ of webmasters. I would rate this forum a grade of B-.

The Hype Machine, http://hypem.com, is one of a kind. It has the old songs to the new ones. The songs are posted in a similar format as an ordinary blog. It is user friendly. Besides the music, Hypem also has Live Web Radio.

My views of the site: The site is overall a great site but I prefer imeem (imeem.com). Though, What I love about this site is the Live Web Radio. It has great combination of songs and enjoyable to listen to. I would recommend you if you like listenting to it’s radio. But, if you’re looking for a great range of music, I would not highly recommend it. Rather, I’d recommend you imeem (I’m not biased by the way).

Death Sentence was directed by
James Wan which was released August 2007. This movie was based on the 1975 novel by Brian Garfield. This movie was mostly rated for 18+ in most countries worlwide.

I was only able to watch this movie
when my father bought the dvd last week. This was one of the greatest violent movie I’ve watched (for my age that is). I was WOWed by the story line and the way they directed this movie till I told myself that I had to review this movie.

The story is about Nick Hurne (main character), a father of 2 sons. After his elder son’s (Brendan) hockey match, they made their way to a petrol station and that’s where the whole story began. Brendan was killed by a gang member when he was at the mart. Nick then recognised the gang member and decided to take law into his own hands. Easily put, REVENGE.

He couldn’t take the fact that his son was killed. He started off killing the killer and ended up killing the whole gang himself because they killed his family.

What I love about this movie is that it got me jumping off my chair when watching it. The suspense was great. The story line was very different from other violent movies which are at times predictable. This wasn’t the case. I predicted that Nick would kill the killer and he would be killed by the others right after that. But, I was definitely proven wrong. Yes, he did kill the killer but he wasn’t killed right after that. This movie kept me thinking of what was going to happen. The way the characters acted actually made me really think that Nick was going to die when he was chased by the gang members at the carpark (I was wrong again).

Unlike other movies, this movie is not predictable. It has a very interesting story line and the actors made it look real! I nearly believed what they did were all true! This is one movie which people who enjoy violent movies MUST not miss!

Adobe Systems Inc. said Tuesday it launched public beta versions of three new software packages.

San Jose-based Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) said the beta includes new versions of Dreamweaver for Web design and development, Fireworks for prototyping and Soundbooth for audio.

Adobe plans to incorporate the new versions in its next Creative Suite.

Users can download the beta software free for 48 hours, and after that existing Creative Suite 3 customers may use the beta until the new release is available.

Adobe said the beta provides an early look at the new features and also a way for users to give feedback to the company.

WASHINGTON, (AFP) - - A NASA probe sent back never-before-seen pictures of Mars’ north pole Monday, in the most ambitious mission to date to find if the Red Planet could support life.

After NASA’s Phoenix Mars probe made a near perfect landing at the Martian polar region late Sunday, scientists pored over images revealing a desolate frozen tundra.

Given that Mars ‘ polar region is subject to Earth-like seasonal changes, the scientists think that, like on Earth, the Martian arctic might have a geological record of a warmer, habitable climate.

“We can see cracks in the troughs that make us think the ice is still modifying the surface,” said Peter Smith, a lead scientist on the project. “We see fresh cracks. Cracks can’t be old. They would fill in,” he said.

Scientists said they were also excited about the images taken by the probe during its descent late Sunday into the atmosphere of the Red Planet.

“I’m floored. I’m absolutely floored,” said Phoenix Project manager Barry Goldstein of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, as he reviewed the dramatic images.

Phoenix on Monday was to test several of its instruments and systems, while continuing to transmit back to Earth images of its surroundings.

The pictures from the probe confirmed that the solar arrays needed for the mission’s energy supply had unfolded properly, as the craft’s batteries would have run out in about 30 hours.

The photos also showed masts for the stereo camera and weather station had swung into vertical position as planned, and showed the spacecraft’s footpad planted on the dusty surface as well polygonal patterns on the ground that looked similar to icy arctic regions on Earth.

The flat Martian valley floor is expected to have water-rich permafrost within reach of the lander’s robotic arm.

“Seeing these images after a successful landing reaffirmed the thorough work over the past five years by a great team,” Goldstein told reporters.

After a nine-month journey from Earth, the Phoenix probe touched down in a relatively flat target area.

As planned, Phoenix stopped transmitting signals one minute after landing and focused its limited battery power on opening its solar arrays, and other critical activities.

But a key task still ahead was the first use of the lander’s robotic arm, which was planned for Tuesday.

The backhoe-like arm, 2.35 meters (7.7 feet) long, is designed to dig trenches up to one meter (3.3 feet) deep for samples of soil and water ice.

The arm will deliver the samples to instruments aboard the lander for detailed chemical and geological analysis.

The robotic arm also carries a box-shaped camera with a double Gauss lens system like that in 35mm cameras, and two lighting assemblies.

This will take images of the surrounding area and of samples the arm picks up.

Another camera device is the surface stereo imager, what NASA calls Phoenix’s “eyes.” Sitting two meters (6.6 feet) above the ground, the SSI will produce high-definition and panoramic images of the surrounding landscape.

Its stereo capability will help give scientists on Earth three-dimensional views of the work the robotic arm does. It can also be turned vertically to take images that will provide information on atmospheric particles.

“Only five of our planet’s 11 previous attempts to land on the Red Planet have succeeded,” said Ed Weiler, NASA associate administrator. “In exploring the universe, we accept some risk in exchange for the potential of great scientific rewards.”

Working in the flat circumpolar region known as Vastitas Borealis — akin to northern Canada in Earth’s latitude — Phoenix, with a panoply of high-tech equipment, will over three months dig below the surface to probe the icy ground for signs of liquid water and organic, life-supporting minerals.

The team had been worried about the high risk of the project, with a roughly 50 percent failure rate on all Mars missions since the Soviet Union launched the first one in 1960.

The movie “The Hottie And The Nottie” was realeased in April 2008. It is a comedy starring Paris Hilton.

Sipnopsis: The movie is about Nate Cooper (Joel David Moore) can’t get it together with women. However, he could not forget the first crush he had, during his elementry school, a girl named Cristabel Abott (Paris Hilton). He then began his search in California and bumped into his Best Friend. His mother knows alot about Cristabel.

He then found out that Cristabel always has her usual evening jog daily by the beach. She, being single, made Nate wanting to ‘get’ her more. She would not go out for any dates unless her best friend, June (since elementry school), gets her first date. Nate then went to search for a date for her but it did not work out. However, Johann, a dentist/model, appeared and seemed to want to do a makeover on June. Nate this he is hitting on Cristabel.

As June undergo the makeover, she looked more beautiful. Nate got to know her better and then realized that the girl of his dreams was actually June. He then left Cristabel and left for June.

Review: Although I LOVE comedy movies, this is the worst movie I’ve watched. The movie was not that hilarious. Instead, it was GROSS! It grossed me out when I was watching. (eg. the way the toe nail flew out) The movie also did not make much sense. The storyline was TERRIBLE. I think it deserves to be listed as one of the WORST movies made.

The movie has an abnormal way of showing what love really is. The climax wasn’t quite there to keep me at the edge of my seat, wanting to watch more. Overall, it has a bad beginning, storyline, climax, ending, EVERYTHING!

LONDON - Tributes poured in on Sunday for a teenage actor who was stabbed to death during a fight outside a pub that left three other men with serious knife wounds.

Robert Knox, 18, was fatally wounded during the “large disturbance” outside the Metro Bar on Station Road, Sidcup, Kent, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Friends and relatives left bunches of flowers outside the bar, and a stream of messages were posted on social networking Web site Facebook and the International Movie Database Web site.

The teenager had a small part in the forthcoming film Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

His parents Sally and Colin Knox, of Maidstone Road, Sidcup, said in a statement: “Rob was kind and thoughtful and would always help out others — he would always spend his last penny on other people instead of himself.

“The life and soul of the party, he was very outgoing, loved sports, and would always strike up a conversation with people.

“He was respectful to others and adored by all his family and friends. He was asset to the family.”

Three of his friends also sustained serious injuries in the incident: a 21-year-old was stabbed in the neck, a 16-year-old in the chest and a third man, aged in his late teens or early 20s, sustained stab wounds to his hand.

The 21-year-old is still receiving hospital treatment, while the other two have been discharged.

A fifth man, 21, was taken to hospital suffering facial injuries. He was later discharged, and has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Scotland Yard said they did not believe the incident to be gang-related.

Knife crime has blighted London in recent months.

Earlier this month, a man was knifed to death on Oxford Street, one of the busiest shopping areas in the country, and 16-year-old Jimmy Mizen died after his throat was slashed after declining to become involved in a fight with a man in a bakery.

A few days ago, I was able to catch the movie I long waited for; Forbidden Kingdom. I’ve heard many good feedbacks from friends, cousins and reviewers. It is one show which I will not regret watching. It is thrilling and adventurous.

The movie, starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan, both Martial Arts professionals brought the movie to life with their very sleeky moves with full of action. If you’re someone who loves action, this is a GREAT movie! One of my favourite action movies EVER! In my opinion, I would rate this movie a 4.5/5!
